In this vibrant new collection of poems for children at KS2, Attie Lime's vivid imagination and playful use of language rise to new levels!

This is a collection that will inspire children to enjoy words and quirky juxtapositions, to laugh, to reflect, to wonder, and maybe even to write poetry themselves.

Attie says: ‘I hope these poems make you smile, laugh, remember, wonder, and feel seen. Please read them aloud to see how they taste – they’re poems on toast, after all’!

Reviews

‘Attie Lime is full of humour, love and warmth, and her newest book contains all of those ingredients in abundance. These are clever poems, gentle poems, funny poems and poems to make you think – something for every mood, and all set exactly right to engage with all the feelings a child from year three through middle primary school (and younger and older!) could encounter – all unmistakably in Attie’s reassuring voice.’ - Liz Brownlee, PoetryRoundabout.com
