When Poems Fall From the Sky: Zaro Weil flies into the UK for two very special launch events

Do you believe that nature has magical secret stories to tell? Zaro Weil, winner of the 2020 CLiPPA Award, spent a day at London’s Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew and was inspired by the plants, the birds, the insects, the sunlight and the earth she encountered there, to write her latest poetry collection.

When Poems Fall From the Sky marries science and poetry to create a tender and thoughtful love-letter to earth, and will be released next month by Troika in association with the Royal Botanic Gardens. Beautifully illustrated by Junli Song, the poems, story-poems, raps, rhymes, haiku and mini plays inside this fantastical anthology are a riot of imagination, humour and joy.

To celebrate their launch, Zaro, who lives in France, will be making a special visit to the UK. Come and meet her in person at the Bath Children’s Literature Festival, or join her online from wherever you are!
