Savita Kalhan

Savita Kalhan was born in India and moved to the UK when she was very young. She graduated with a joint honours degree in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

Savita was a batik artist and teacher before she turned to writing.

Her highly praised books tackle a range of contemporary issues facing young people and have been described as “intensely compelling”, “subtle and multilayered”, and "refreshing and very hard-hitting".
