Philip Womack

Philip Womack, acclaimed author of The Other Book and The Liberators, has already been likened to Alan Garner (The Times) and described as “the next JK Rowling” by The Evening Standard and The Daily Mail. The Daily Telegraph consider him "a writer of huge talent" and Tatler magazine “Byronically handsome”!

Currently literary critic for the Telegraph, Contributing Editor to the Literary Review and a judge of the Costa Children’s Book Award, Womack’s admirers include Amanda Craig, formerly of The Times, and authors Philip Reeve, Marcus Sedgwick and Keren David, among others. He is the Patron of Reading for Haringey.
